Who is responsible
DAYQUEST is run by Vishwa Koolla, an individual based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, who is the controller of your personal data and decides how and why it is used. Contact: Vishwa.koolla@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Account details (email, username, login credentials or sign-in provider ID) — to create and run your account (performance of contract).
- Proof uploads (videos, screenshots, photos, notes, and frames taken from videos) — to verify quests with our automated AI checker and award XP (performance of contract).
- Game activity (XP, quest results, leaderboard position, membership status) — to provide the service and public leaderboards (performance of contract).
- Gift card requests (email for delivery, reward chosen) — to deliver rewards (performance of contract).
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems (legitimate interests).
- Support messages — to respond to you (legitimate interests).
Your username and XP appear on public leaderboards.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the app, store data, and run the AI proof checker;
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling PLUS, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside Canada, with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep account and game data while your account is active. When it is no longer needed, or after you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise it unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA and, where applicable, GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email Vishwa.koolla@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data.
